Sarno brought greetings and spoke at a meeting for the Estate Planning Council of Hampden County on Tuesday, January 9th at the Fort Restaurant. The meeting provides their members, which include lawyers, life insurance and financial planning professionals, fiduciaries, accountants, and planned giving professionals, a chance to hear about key issues and updates on economic development, legislative, and business matters. Mayor Sarno will speak about the economic trends impacting the City of Springfield and the numerous economic development projects going on throughout the city, especially downtown, as well as an update on the city’s healthy, sound and stable fiscal management policies. Mayor Sarno states, “I am looking forward to joining with the distinguished members of the Estate Planning Council of Hampden County and sharing with them a brief update on the various projects, programs and initiatives the City of Springfield has going on thanks in large part to our sound, stable and sustainable fiscal management policies and practices that have enabled us to invest over $5 billion in public and private economic development projects throughout our city.
